About me
I am a full member of the Portuguese Society of Psychologists (Reg. no. 28831), with a master’s degree in clinical psychology, in a psychoanalytic approach, from the Instituto Superior de Psicologia Aplicada (ISPA), Lisbon.
Through an advanced specialization in somatic psychotherapy, I’ve learned to integrate the mind and body into my work, as the inseparable nature of our psychological and physiological selves means that caring for one implies caring for the other. Involving the body as the translator of a person’s story offers more insights into their experience than a purely verbal approach to therapy can do.
I speak and write Portuguese, Spanish, French, and English and provide consultations with adults in these languages, either in person (in Lisbon) or online.
My passion for issues related to psychology and health – and deep interest in making a difference – allows me to help people to overcome psychological or emotional difficulties and become the best version of themselves.
On a personal note, I enjoy singing, dancing, reading, and learning of all kinds. I am interested in the study of Buddhism, the practice of meditation, and ways to remain present in each moment. I find solace and stimulation through being in contact with nature.
